Electrical and Instrumentation services

The WORK includes the following activities: 

Part 1:

• Cable trench 
• Auger boring
• Installation of HV joint pit
• Installation of cable maker and earthing pit

Part 2 :

(Power, instrumentation, earthing, FOC) according to the cable schedule listed below:

The cable laying work include:

• Load, haul and offload the cable drums from Company warehouse to the location on site as required.
• Cutting and measure insulation resistance of the cable reels as delivered to site.
• Stamping and fixing of cable identification tags, temporary sealing of cable ends.
• Cable protection and temporary capping for the ends of cables including ends of cable on drums or coils after cutting.
• Cleaning conduit pipes, ducts, duct banks, and trays, cabling through sleeves, sealing of duct bank and the like.
• Determining required cable length at the tail end for connection to the equipment.  
• The residual length on each drum after cutting shall be clearly marked on the side of the drum.
• Rollers shall be used for cable pulling, the rollers shall be well maintained and in good working order.
• When cables are installed but cannot be immediately terminated, they shall be coiled up at the terminal point in a neat an orderly manner.
• Provide and install PVC conduit for cable laying as per drawings.
